Dining Out- Weekend of September 10th, 2005

Crossroads Pizza & Subs
Mukwonago

I wish I knew how their pizza was, but do know they build a respectable Turkey Sub. Featuring a thick layer of turkey with provolone, onion, tomato, oil and vinegar on fresh bread for a cost-effective two and a half bucks.

China Dragon
New Berlin

Five Spices Beef

The marinade put this above average and then fatty beef and past its prime parsley brought it to below average. That unchewable beef made half of this inedible.

Décor: Looks like any Chinese place, albeit it seems a little more formal.
Service: Bubbly.

Denver and Tomato Omelette

Aiding to the great taste of this omelette was the impressive size of the peppers, onion, tomato and ham. Not the dice usually seen these big pieces impacted both the visual and taste senses. The best hash browns I’ve had in a while with the medley of crisp and soft.

Décor: Greek family restaurant. And they have a counter.
Service: Amiable.

Kassler Rippchen
Smoked pork chop served with red cabbage and a dumpling

This chop indeed carried a smoky flavor and was very juicy, appearing to be from butter. It faltered slightly in a variance of tenderness. A just doughy enough outstanding dumpling incorporated great seasonings. All backed up by the sharp cabbage.

Décor: Older part is Germanic with additions more unadorned.
Service: Nice lady.
