Dutch Apple Monte Cristo Batter Cake

A mouthful of a name, as it is to describe. Make pancake batter. Saute thinly sliced apples in butter, cinnamon and sugar. Cool and add to batter. Pan fry ham slice. Cook pancake batter like a large pancake. Flip and top with ham and grated cheddar. Fold in halve while plating.


Mondo Nachos

Rating: Very good

Nachos good. These nachos really good. On top of the tortilla chips are three alternating layers of cheddar, black olives and a chili/cream cheese mixture with a final topping of more cheese. That chili mixture really makes this and gives it nice heft and creaminess.


Milk Chocolate Florentines

Rating: Good+

Thin crunchy Florentines sandwich a thin layer of milk chocolate.


Accra Banana Peanut Cake

Category: Cake
Rating: Excellent

A real delight with a rich, sweet and tropical flavor. The moist texture ranges from cakey to borderline syrupy. Sorta like banana bread on steroids.


Eggnog Cookies

Category: Cookies
Rating: Good

A light taste and nice texture, but too mild in flavor. I've done much better with eggnog in cheesecake, pie, bread, waffles and pancakes.
